Processamento
Our server, not your browser, sends the requests to the address you check, so the chain is shown without your IP location, cookies or extensions. Every hop passes an SSRF guard against requests to internal networks.
Entrada
One URL (https:// is added if you omit the scheme); up to 15 hops
Limites
30 checks a minute per IP and no daily limit; up to 15 hops, a 20-second timeout per step; follows 301, 302, 303, 307 and 308 responses that carry a Location header
Resultado
Redirect count, final status, total time, “same / different domain”; the chain with the URL and status of every step; generic tips (chain length, 302 instead of 301, domain change, http → https)

Verificador de redirecionamentos

Trace the redirect chain of any URL: the status of every hop (301, 302, 307, 308), intermediate URLs and the final page. Chains longer than 15 hops are stopped, which exposes loops.

FAQ

Paste the URL and press Check. The tool requests the page, reads the Location header and keeps going until it reaches a response that is not a redirect. The report lists the URL and status code of every step, the final URL and status, the redirect count and the total time.

A chain is several redirects in a row: A → B → C. Each extra step adds a request and a delay, so the rule of thumb is one hop at most. The tool flags two hops as worth shortening and three or more as too long.

Enter the old URL. You want a single 301 (or 308) hop straight to the final URL, which answers 200. If you see a 302, an extra intermediate address or a 404 at the end, fix the rule. Test the www and plain http variants too.

No. It reads only HTTP responses with a 3xx code and a Location header. If a page redirects with a script or a meta refresh tag, the chain ends on that page with status 200. Look for such redirects in the page source.

Paste it into the checker. Our server sends the requests, so you never open the link in your own browser. The end of the chain shows the final address, and the “different domain” marker tells you the link leaves the original site. If the shortener redirects with a script, you only see its interstitial page.

No registration is needed. The only limit is 30 checks a minute per IP address, with no daily cap. A chain is followed for up to 15 hops, and each step gets 20 seconds. Addresses are checked one at a time; there is no bulk list upload.

A loop happens when addresses point at each other: A → B → A. Browsers then report “too many redirects”. The tool stops after 15 hops and the report shows the repeating addresses. If your chain depends on a cookie, it can look like a loop here even though it works in a browser.

Role a tabela para os lados

Onde somos mais fracos: We are shallower: one URL at a time, no User-Agent choice, no response headers, no bulk check and no detection of meta refresh or JS redirects — some alternatives offer these.

Quando escolher o PromoPilot: When you need a quick look at the chain of a single address without signing up: after a migration or URL change, when merging www and http/https, for someone else’s short link, or when a “too many redirects” error appears.
