IP e rede

Calculadora de sub-rede

Calcule máscara, faixa de IPs e número de hosts pela notação CIDR.

Informe o endereço IP com CIDR (ex.: 192.168.1.0/24) ou apenas o IP (padrão /24)

Fatos principais

IPv4 subnet calculator: enter an address with a prefix (for example 192.168.1.0/24) and get the subnet mask, wildcard, network address, broadcast, host range and host count. Free, no sign-up. IPv6 and splitting a network into subnets are not supported.

Processamento
On our server: PHP functions compute from the IP and prefix you enter; the tool calls no third-party services
Entrada
An IPv4 address with a CIDR prefix, for example 192.168.1.0/24; without a prefix /24 is assumed. A mask is also accepted as 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0
Limites
IPv4 only, prefix 0–32; one calculation at a time; no sign-up; there is no splitting of a network into subnets (VLSM)
Resultado
Network address, broadcast, subnet mask, wildcard mask, first and last host, number of hosts, binary form of the IP and mask, and a private-network flag

IPv4 subnet calculator: mask, network, broadcast and hosts

Enter an IP address with a prefix, such as 192.168.10.77/26, or just an IP (then /24 is assumed). The calculator finds the network and broadcast addresses, first and last host, host count, subnet mask and wildcard mask, shows the mask and address in binary and marks RFC 1918 private ranges. IPv4 only.

Subnet mask and wildcard mask
Network, broadcast and host range
Mask and IP address in binary
Mask reference table from /16 to /32

Como usar

  1. Enter an IP address with a prefix, e.g. 192.168.10.77/26
  2. Without a prefix the calculator assumes /24
  3. Read the mask, network address, broadcast and host range

Casos de uso

  • Plan subnet segmentation for infrastructure and environments.
  • Prepare firewall and ACL rules based on IP ranges.

Limitações

  • Focused on IPv4 CIDR calculations.
  • Does not analyze real BGP routes or host reachability.

FAQ

Enter an address with a prefix, such as 192.168.1.0/24, and click Calculate. You get the subnet mask, wildcard, network address, broadcast, first and last host and the number of hosts. No sign-up needed.

No, the tool accepts only a CIDR prefix (/24). To convert a mask to a prefix, count the ones in its binary form: 255.255.255.0 is /24 and 255.255.255.192 is /26.

By the formula 2^(32−prefix) − 2: a /24 has 254 hosts, a /26 has 62 and a /30 has 2. Two addresses are subtracted because the first is the network address and the last is the broadcast. For /31 the tool shows 2 addresses, for /32 it shows 1.

It is the inverted subnet mask (for /24 it is 0.0.0.255). It is used in access lists and some routing protocols, where a “0” bit means “must match” and a “1” bit means “any value”.

No. The calculator works only with IPv4 and computes a single subnet. You cannot split a network into several subnets (VLSM) or merge networks into a supernet here.

They are two neighbouring tools on the site: here you get the full set of parameters of one subnet from an IP and prefix. For working with CIDR blocks and ranges use the separate CIDR calculator.

Role a tabela para os lados

Onde somos mais fracos: we accept only IPv4 with a CIDR prefix (a mask such as 255.255.255.0 is not supported), have no subnet splitting (VLSM) or IPv6, and the private-network flag covers three RFC 1918 ranges.

Quando escolher o PromoPilot: When you want every parameter of one subnet from an IP and prefix in a second and to see the binary form of the mask. To split a network into several subnets of different sizes, or to work with IPv6, you need a calculator with VLSM.
