Verificación de IP en listas negras

Checks an IP against 14 DNSBLs (Spamhaus, Barracuda, SpamCop and more) and a domain against 3 domain blocklists — for a domain, both the website and mail server IPs.

IPv4, IPv6 or a domain. The test address 127.0.0.2 must be listed everywhere — use it to test the lists themselves.

Listed only on minor lists. Gmail, Outlook and other large providers barely use them, so delivery is usually unaffected. If you send mail from this IP, still find and fix the cause — most of these listings expire on their own within days.

How we check: every list is first queried with the test address 127.0.0.2 (must be listed) and 127.0.0.1 (must not be). A list that fails this test shows "No answer", never "clean". Spamhaus refusal codes (127.255.255.x) count as errors, not listings. Check time: 1.2 s.

How to check if an IP or domain is blacklisted

The tool checks an IP address against 14 DNSBLs (Spamhaus ZEN, Barracuda, SpamCop, PSBL, Mailspike, UCEPROTECT and more) and a domain against the Spamhaus DBL, SURBL and URIBL domain lists. For a domain it checks both the website IPs and the mail server IPs from MX. Every list is first tested with a control address, so a list that is down shows "no answer" instead of a false "clean". Listings come with the return code, the reason from the TXT record and a delisting link.

17 IP lists and 3 domain lists, queried in parallel
IPv4, IPv6 and domains (website IPs + mail IPs from MX)
Honest statuses: "no answer" is never shown as "clean"
Listing reason and delisting links

Cómo usar

  1. Enter an IP address (IPv4 or IPv6) or a domain
  2. Wait while all lists are queried in parallel — usually 1–4 seconds
  3. Start with the key lists; for any listing, read the reason and follow the delisting link

FAQ

Enter an IP address, a domain or a site URL and click Check. We query 14 IP blocklists and 3 domain blocklists and show the status for each. No sign-up; the limit is 5 checks per minute and 10 a day for a guest.

That is how we show Spamhaus PBL: the address is in a range from which mail is not expected to be sent directly (for example a home IP). It is not a sign of spam, but mail servers may reject mail from such an address.

We test each list with the addresses 127.0.0.2 and 127.0.0.1. If a list answers wrongly or refuses us, we do not treat its result as reliable and say “unavailable” instead.

Fix the cause (a hacked site, an open relay, spam from the address) and file a request on the list’s page; we show the links next to the result. Only the list owner removes an address.

Seventeen: 14 IP lists (three major ones: Spamhaus ZEN, Barracuda BRBL, SpamCop) and 3 domain lists (Spamhaus DBL, SURBL, URIBL). Services with 100+ lists will find more minor entries.

Yes, for the lists that document IPv6 support. For the other zones the address is skipped, which the report shows.
