Priority Indexing: What the Launch Option Provides

Glossary 3 min read Updated 27.07.2026
The option places cascade links in an expedited submission queue and retries. We analyze which links are submitted, how much it costs, and what the option does not promise.

Priority indexing is an optional feature in the cascade launch window. It places published links in an expedited submission queue for crawling and retries submission several times for each link. The option increases the likelihood of being indexed and reduces wait time, but does not guarantee results: the decision is made by Google, not the platform.

What the Option Does

ParameterRegular ModePriority Indexing
Submission QueueGeneralPriority, immediately after link verification
RetriesOne submissionUp to three attempts for each link
CostIncluded in the tariff priceMarkup on the launch price, percentage indicated directly on the option card
Interface Mark“Priority Indexing” badge on the launch

Which Links Are Submitted

Only verified first and second level links are submitted — exactly those visible in the report. The application is formed when these levels have been processed and the link verification has caught up with the publications: this way, the entire cascade is submitted in one batch, not in parts. Known non-viable addresses are filtered out before submission — platforms that block publications from indexing, bare domains, and files. Second level platforms, which based on accumulated statistics rarely get indexed, are filtered out separately: it makes no sense to pay for them.

What the Option Does Not Do
It does not guarantee indexing and does not specify a timeframe. It does not affect rankings, does not speed up the publication of the cascade itself, and does not work with pages of your site — only with publications created by the cascade. The promise is exactly one: the application goes out earlier and is repeated if nothing happened the first time.

Where to Enable and See Results

  • Launch Window — the “Launch Options” block, the first item with a markup badge. How the entire launch looks is described in the article how to launch promotion.
  • Launch Card and Report List — the “Priority Indexing” badge next to the launch.
  • Report — the number of publications found in the index; how the platform checks this is described in the article indexing of publications.
  • “Pulse” — the “In Index” chip with the increase per page.

When to Enable and When Not To

The option is justified when results are needed by a deadline — season, promotion, launch of a new section — and when the cascade is large: the more links, the more noticeable the difference between “submitted once” and “submitted and repeated”. For a small trial launch, the markup usually does not pay off: it is easier to wait for the regular queue. The final amount with the markup is visible before confirmation, the price breakdown is in the article tariffs and price.

Common Misconceptions

  • “With the option, links will definitely end up in the index”. No. Some publications are never indexed — this is normal for free platforms.
  • “Indexing equals ranking growth”. Indexing is a necessary condition for a link to be considered at all, but it is not the reason for growth by itself.
  • “The option can be enabled after the start”. No: it is selected before confirmation and is fixed along with the other launch settings.

FAQ

Does the option guarantee indexing?
No. It increases the likelihood and reduces wait time, but the decision on indexing is always made by Google.
Which links are submitted?
Only verified first and second level links — the same ones visible in the report. Known non-viable addresses are filtered out in advance.
How much does the option cost?
It is a markup percentage on the launch cost. The exact percentage is shown on the option card, and the final amount is visible before launch confirmation.
