Free First Link: Where It Is and How to Get It
A new account is entitled to one free publication — a real first-level link on a real platform, without payment and obligations. The most common misunderstanding is that it cannot be selected through a plan in the launch window; it is activated elsewhere.
Where It Is Located
- Open the main page of the site — the 'Try for Free' block with the form.
- Enter the address of the promoted page and the anchor.
- If you are not logged in yet, the system will ask you to register — the link is tied to the account.
- A project for this domain is created automatically, the language is determined by the page itself, and the launch starts immediately.
What Exactly You Get
- One first-level publication with a link to your page.
- A regular article generated based on the topic of your page — see who writes articles.
- A line in the report with the publication address and verification status.
- Link verification and submission for indexing — just like paid launches.
Limitations
| Rule | How It Works |
|---|---|
| One per account | Cannot be activated again: the usage indicator is stored in the profile |
| Registration required | Without an account, there is nowhere to tie the publication |
| One level | No second level or crowd — this is a quality trial, not a cascade |
| The platform chooses the site | As with paid launches, according to the current priority of rotation |
How to Get the Most Out of It
Do not waste it on the main page: take one that is at the threshold of the top — this will show dynamics. Set a meaningful anchor, not just the company name: tips are in the article about the anchor plan. And connect Search Console before launching to get a baseline 'before' measurement.
If the Link Did Not Appear
Publication takes time: the platform must accept the material, after which the system checks for the presence of the link on the page. Check the status in the project report. If there is no status after a day — contact support with the address of the page you submitted.
