PromoPilot 1.60.1: sharper watermark detectors and a calmer mobile home page
The audio detector takes files up to 95 MB and finds Udio in OGG, the text detector answers in your language, the home page is calmer on phones, and the "Link replaced" email is branded.
PromoPilot 1.60.1 is out. There are no big new features in it, but there are four fixes every visitor will notice: two free watermark detectors are more accurate, the home page gets in the way less on phones, and one client email finally looks like the others.
Audio watermark detector
We went through the run log of the audio watermark detector for 13–27 October. Of 342 checks, 303 succeeded, and the main reason for failures was large WAV masters: 28 files were over 50 MB. The limit is now 95 MB.
- Files up to 95 MB. No need to re-encode a WAV master before checking it.
- The Udio label in OGG. If a generator wrote its name into a Vorbis comment, the detector finds it: 4 of 4 files on our test set, up from 0.
- A large WAV in a fraction of a second. A 90 MB file used to take 69 seconds, now 0.04 seconds.
- No false alarms. On 24 recordings by human musicians the detector found no generator labels, before or after the update.
Text watermark detector
The text watermark detector now shows its results in the page language, without technical codes. Below 70% confidence, instead of an alarming "Watermarks detected" it says "Hidden characters found" and explains that such characters are often left by copying from an AI chat, a PDF or a messenger. Quotes, dashes and non-breaking spaces stay in the cleaned text.
Home page on phones
On a phone, the home page shows at most one pop-up per visit. The free-link window opens only after you scroll, not in the first seconds. The "Someone from …" notifications are gone.
The "Link replaced" email
If a site removes an article from your promotion, we publish a replacement and send a "Link replaced" email. It now comes in the branded layout, in your language, with a report button and a link to notification settings.
