Enter a domain and click the button. We find pages in Google that mention the domain, open them and show those with a real link: source, anchor and dofollow/nofollow. The limit is 3 requests per minute and 10 a day for a guest.

No. It is a small sample (up to 10 pages for a guest and 20 when logged in) assembled through Google search. A full profile, DR and new or lost links come from Ahrefs, Semrush and other paid databases.

The page may not be in the results, may block checking, may load the link by script, or may not fit in the 45-second check. Such pages land in “unconfirmed”.

From the link’s rel attribute: nofollow, ugc or sponsored count as not followed. Other links count as dofollow.

Free versions of paid services (for example the free Ahrefs checker) show part of the data; the full volume needs a subscription. There is an Ahrefs button next to the result.

Who it is for and typical uses

Verifying a placed link. Confirm that a page really links to your site and see the anchor and the nofollow/ugc/sponsored attribute.
A quick look at donors. Which domains most often mention your site in Google.
Unlinked mentions. The list of pages that name the domain without a clickable link is the basis for a link request.
Alongside cascades. PromoPilot placements are checked separately in your account; this tool is useful for an outside view.

Honest limitations

It is a sample, not a backlink database. We keep no link index of our own: only pages found through Google search are visible, so a domain usually has more real links.
10 pages are checked for a guest, 20 when logged in, within limited time (about 45 seconds); other candidates are marked “skipped”.
No authority metrics. DR, Domain Authority, donor traffic, and new or lost links are not determined.
The service budget. A Google search is a paid query and the service has an overall daily budget; when it is used up the tool is temporarily unavailable.
Pages closed to checking (bot blocking, links added by JavaScript) end up as “unconfirmed” although a link may exist.
24-hour cache. Fresh links may not show up in results at once.

Where we are weaker: most importantly, we have no backlink database of our own, only a sample of 10–20 pages, so no DR/Authority, no total link count and no new or lost links; the service’s budget for paid queries is limited.
