Uniqueness Check
Analysis of repetition inside a text, without searching the web for copies: self-repetition, lexical diversity, comparison of two pasted texts. This is not a plagiarism check.
Key facts
This is not an internet plagiarism checker. The tool measures how much internal repetition a text has and how varied it is, and compares two texts you paste against each other. It does not look for matches with other sites, articles or databases, and it has no name or brand uniqueness check.

Text Uniqueness Check — N-gram Analysis
Check a text for self-repetition: n-gram analysis, lexical diversity (TTR), comparison of two pasted texts. Spot repeated phrases and clichés. The tool does not search the web for copies and does not replace a plagiarism check.

- Review results: uniqueness score and repeated phrases
FAQ
Who it is for and typical uses
- Editing your own text. Repeated phrases and a thin vocabulary show up in the list of three- and four-word repeats.
- Comparing versions. Paste an old and a new version of an article and see how similar they are by words and phrases.
- Checking a rewrite for self-repetition. Useful after spinning and paraphrasing.
Honest limitations
- No search of the internet or databases. The “uniqueness score” here means a lack of internal repetition, not a lack of matches with other people’s texts. The tool will not find copying.
- It cannot check a name or brand. Queries such as “check naming uniqueness” need registry and search-result lookups; we have none.
- The score is simplified. It rests on the share of repeated three-word phrases and vocabulary variety (TTR); a short or technical text full of terms can get a low score.
- Two-text comparison covers only what you paste. Similarity is 40% word overlap and 60% trigram overlap, with no regard for meaning or synonyms.

Where we are weaker: most importantly, we do not search for copying on the web or in databases, so this does not replace an anti-plagiarism service; there is no source report.
When to choose PromoPilot: When you want to find padding and repetition in your own text or compare two versions of an article. To check a text for copying from the internet, use an anti-plagiarism service with a search index.
