AI Title Generator

Free headline generator: describe the topic, add a keyword and, optionally, the page URL — the AI suggests 10 SEO titles or blog post headlines in 15 languages. Each comes with character count, pixel width (where Google would cut it) and a keyword check. 15 generations a day without an account. These are drafts: review and edit them before publishing.

We read the title, H1, description and opening paragraphs so the variants match the content. Page text is treated as data only.

Generations today: 0 of 15. Repeating the same request within 24 hours does not use the limit.

How to pick a variant

  • Keyword near the start, as long as the phrase still reads naturally.
  • Up to ~600 px (≈ 50–60 characters) a title usually shows in full; longer ones get an ellipsis. The tag itself has no length limit — this is about display.
  • The title must describe the page honestly: Google rewrites titles that do not match the content or are stuffed with keywords.
  • Every page needs its own title. Check a live page with the meta tag checker. Meta tag checker →

Free AI Title Generator for SEO and Blogs

The generator suggests 10 SEO titles for the <title> tag or 10 blog post headlines (H1). Describe the topic and main keyword, pick one of 15 output languages and a tone, and optionally add the page URL — we then read its title, H1, description and opening paragraphs so the ideas match the content. Each variant shows its character count, approximate pixel width (will Google show it in full) and whether it contains the keyword; you can edit any variant and the counters update as you type. A language model via OpenRouter writes them, so treat them as drafts: check the facts and adjust to your voice.

FAQ

Yes, it is free. Without an account you get 15 generations a day, 45 with a free account and no limit with Pro. Repeating the same request within 24 hours comes from cache and does not use the limit. Each generation is a paid AI request, so the site’s three AI generators also share one daily cap.

There is no single best one. Ahrefs offers a free SEO Title Generator (topic or keyword, language, tone, title types) and a Blog Title Generator; HubSpot’s Blog Ideas Generator suggests post topics and titles. Ours is handy when you want character count, pixel width and a keyword check on each of 10 variants at once, want the ideas grounded in your page via its URL, or need the interface in Russian, Ukrainian or Polish.

Google has no hard limit: a long title is not penalised, it is simply cut to fit the screen. On desktop that is about 600 pixels — usually 50–60 characters, though narrow letters fit better than wide ones. That is why we show the pixel width, measured in your browser with Arial 20 px as in search results. It is an estimate: Google changes its layout from time to time.

Nobody can promise that. A title helps Google understand the page and affects whether people click, but rankings depend mainly on the content, links and how well the page answers the query. Google also rewrites titles that do not match the content. Use the best variant and compare the page’s CTR in Search Console after a few weeks.

If you give a URL, our server downloads the page’s HTML once (without running JavaScript) and takes the title, H1, description and opening paragraphs. Together with your topic and keyword they go to a language model via OpenRouter as data — the AI is told not to follow any instructions found in page text. Finished variants are kept for 24 hours so a repeat request is instant and free.

What makes a good title tag

The title is the text of the <title> tag. Google usually shows it as the blue link in search results, browsers show it on the tab, and social networks use it in link cards when there is no og:title. A good title does three jobs: says what the page is, matches what the searcher wants, and stands out from the nine results around it.

  • Lead with the point of the page. On mobile and in narrow layouts the end of a title is often hidden.
  • Use the main keyword naturally. Once, the way people search for it — not “keyword, buy keyword, keyword price”.
  • Be specific. Place, format, time, audience: “in 2 hours”, “for beginners”, “in Austin” — things the page actually delivers.
  • Brand at the end, kept short. On the homepage or in niches where people search for the brand, it can go first.
  • Make each one unique. The same title on a hundred pages is a common reason Google rewrites titles on its own.

Title tag vs H1

The H1 is the headline readers see on the page; the title is what they see in search results. Both should be about the same thing, but they can differ: the title is shorter with the keyword near the start, the H1 can be longer and livelier. In “Blog post headline” mode the generator writes H1-style headlines of up to 70–80 characters; in “SEO page title” mode it aims for about 60 characters so the title fits the result width.

How to get better ideas from the generator

  1. Add the page URL. The AI then sees the current title, H1 and opening text and does not invent things the page does not offer.
  2. Describe the topic as you would to a colleague: what it is, who it is for and what makes it different. “Excel course” is weaker than “online Excel course for accountants, 12 lessons, with a certificate”.
  3. Enter the keyword separately so the counter shows which variants contain it in full and which only partly.
  4. Look at pixel width, not just characters. Wide letters (W, M) and capitals take more room than narrow ones (i, l, t).
  5. Combine two variants. The best title is often the start of one idea and the end of another. Edit right in the field and the length and width update.

What to do after publishing

After 2–4 weeks, open Search Console → Performance, filter by the page and compare CTR and impressions with the previous period. If Google shows a different title, check the page in the meta tag checker and see how it looks in the SERP preview. For the text under the title, use the meta description generator.
